Released on October 27, 2000, Mohabbatein is still remembered as a love story that changed the course of on-screen novels. Mohabbatein is for anyone who is in love or wants to fall in love, but also for anyone who feels that there is no stronger feeling than love.

Actor Saurabh Shukla who played Tom Uncle (Kim Sharma’s father) believes Mohabbatein had the power to influence millennials. He says, “Mohabbatein is a very special movie to me. Although I had a small part in the movie, director Aditya Chopra wanted to cast me in a quirky yet humorous character of Kim Sharma’s father. I was honored when he told me that. no one could have done this better than I. Over the years I have chosen characters based on the story of a movie, and Mohabbatein had the power to influence the millennials. The film had the charm of youth and their eternal love, and that’s why the film is still recognizable to the current generation. “

Saurabh, who is best known for his humorous character in such films as Mohabbatein, Pagalpanti and Jolly LLB, shares: “Humor is the part of everyone’s life. If you look closely at my characters, you will realize that they are very serious characters, in Mohabbatein. , Raid, Pagalpanti or PK. I do not try to create comedy with my characters, it is their interesting life that they go through which is fun and exciting. I do not divide between serious and funny characters when serious people have funny moments in their life and vice versa. I believe these are the characters I’ve played so far. “

Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, along with veteran actors including Amrish Puri, Saurabh Shukla, Anupam Kher and Helen. The film also introduced us to the beautiful Shamita Shetty, Preeti Jhangiani and Kim Sharma, who made their Bollywood debuts with the film and were cast against another debutant Uday Chopra and other talented actors such as Jugal Hansraj and Jimmy Sheirgill.
