Ajay Devgn puts on hold the final schedule of MayDay owing to rising COVID-19 cases : Bollywood News

Film directed by Ajay Devgan may Day Went to the floor in December. Despite trying several times, Devgan was successful in shooting the major parts of the film. However, the actor-director is facing some serious challenges ahead of the final stages of the film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh.

Initially, the team left for Doha for a three-day event in late April. However, due to the massive upsurge in COVID-19 cases, Devgan has decided to discontinue the Doha schedule keeping in mind the safety of its crew.

Mayday tells the story of the 2015 incident when the flight to Doha-Kochi was called off due to poor visibility and was diverted to another airport in South India. Reportedly, the film is to be shot at various airports across India. But it was not possible to film the required parts due to Pandemic and Devgan instead of the airport set in Hyderabad. According to reports, for the final leg of the shoot, Devgan was to go to Qatar with a small crew and shoot in a bio bubble. However, with increasing cases, Devgan has decided to put it on hold.
