Almost a week after she announced that her Twitter account has been hacked, filmmaker Farah Khan announced on Monday that her account has been restored. She made the announcement via a tweet thanking Twitter India and its vertical entertainment partner for recovering her Twitter account.
“Thank you @cherylanncouto @TwitterIndia for recovering my Twitter account after it was hacked and deleted,” she tweeted. The 55-year-old actor also thanked fellow filmmaker Karan Johar and Maharashra’s cybersecurity wing Maharashtra Cyber. Special thanks to @karanjohar @siddharthkadam for facilitating this .. also @ MahaCyber1 for his helpfulness. Be vigilant, ”Khan tweeted.
The filmmaker of ‘Om Shanti Om’ announced on her Instagram account earlier last week that her Twitter account had been hacked. Although her Twitter handle has now been restored, it has not yet regained the blue check mark indicating its verified status
