Filmmaker Anand L. Rai’s film Atrangi re Production has resumed. The film, starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, will feature Akshay Kumar in a special role. As the shooting began in Lucknow, it closed amid lockdowns. As the producers prepare for the film, Dhanush has confirmed that he and the music maestro AR Rahman have sung for the film.
Sharing a caricature-like selfie from the recording booth, Dhanush captioned it, “A bang singing and chatting with our very own Isai Puil @ Sarrahman sir. # Colorful @aanandlrai @ saraalikhan95. “
Atrangi re Written by National Award winner Himanshu Sharma, and starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan with Akshay Kumar, directed by Anand L. Rai. Presented by T Series, Color Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film is scheduled for 2021 release.
