Disha Patani recently shared an anime artwork of her little brother Suryansh, which turned out to be an exact copy of the work of an Argentinian artist. The issue was brought to light by the Instagram page Diet Sabya, who also shared the original artist’s response to the faux pas.
This is what Disha shared:
Diet Sabya claimed it was the original work of artist Inhoso and shared Inhoso’s comment on this on his Instagram story. Inhoso wrote: “Sorry I fell asleep. The point is this influencer / celeb reposted one of my drawings, cropped it (the watermark) and claimed her little brother drew it. whole thing is without my permission … “
However, the issue was later amicably resolved, when the artist posted yet another story on Instagram explaining what had happened and why it wasn’t that bad. To say that his artwork was fan art in itself, which was kind of illegal, he couldn’t do much about it.
He also asked his fans and social media followers not to troll or post hateful comments on anyone’s posts as it was a misunderstanding.
On the work front, Disha Patani has recently started shooting for Radhe alongside Salman Khan, and she will star in Ek Villain 2 reuniting with her Malang director Mohit Suri.
