Since Sanjay Dutt announced he was cancer-free, several industry colleagues, including Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, congratulated him on his recovery. But a slice of netizens, as well as doctors, still wonder how Dutt, 61, beat the Big C within two months of diagnosis.
A social media user wrote to the star, “Dear Sir, can you please pass on the name and number of that wonderful doctor so that people who have been fighting cancer for years can benefit and recover in a few weeks? helpful in nominating the respected doctor for next year’s Nobel Prize. ”Another user asked,“ How is that possible? How come you recovered so quickly?
On August 8, the actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital after complaining of shortness of breath, which was followed by tests that showed he reportedly had stage 4 lung cancer. On August 11, Dutt took to social media and wrote that he is taking a break for medical treatment. He was spotted following his chemotherapy sessions at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. His decision to seek treatment at Andheri Hospital was commissioned by longtime girlfriend Tina Ambani, who co-starred in his debut film, Rocky (1981).
Over the weekend, Dutt posted that he consulted a spiritual healer “whose predictions are astounding and I am grateful for his presence in my life.” Those close to Dutt have also been surprised by his announcement. We suspect miracles are happening.
Sanjay Dutt recently took to his social media to announce that he will resume shooting for KGF Chapter 2 in November. Adheera’s character has sparked a lot of anticipation from the first glance and audiences are very excited to see him back in action and take over the silver screen.
