Film bodies request CM Uddhav Thackeray to allow post production, and set building during 15 day curfew : Bollywood News

A 15-day Janata curfew has been imposed in the state of Maharashtra, which began on the night of 14 April. In addition, several films such as IMPPA, IFTDA, FWICE, and CINTAA have written to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra requesting some permissions and may be allowed during the ongoing Janata curfew. During the curfew, the state government guidelines mentioned that not all types of shooting and post-production activity would also be allowed.

In the letter to the CM, the film bodies urged that post-production work be allowed in a closed environment so that the material could be edited for broadcast. He also requested that the work should be allowed so that the producers do not have to suffer losses. He also said that people engaged in set building will stay on the set and follow all precautions. He further requested that the announced financial package for daily wage earners should also be extended for M&E workers, technicians and actors. He also urged that if possible vaccination centers, catering for film and TV workers be set up in Film City and Mira-Bhayander area.

New guidelines in the state of Maharashtra have stopped the shooting of big films like the Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Pathan, Salman Khan Starrer Tiger 3 and also Lone man.
