IndiGo shuts down nine media people for unruly behavior on Kangana flight


IndiGo banned nine media personnel for 15 days for unruly behavior while on the same flight that Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut traveled to Mumbai from Chandigarh.

On September 9, Ranaut was on his way to Mumbai on Indigo flight No. 6E-264 from Chandigarh to Mumbai, where media personnel allegedly broke the rules. The media persons are not allowed to travel on the airline from October 15 to 30.

Previously, the Indian aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has asked IndiGo to take appropriate action against unruly passenger behavior.
