Play safe πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚! Randeep Hooda takes the COVID-19 test before starting shooting for Unfair and Lovely

On Wednesday, Randeep Hooda took a COVID-19 test as a precautionary measure before starting to shoot Unfair and Lovely. Writer Balwinder Singh Janjua’s directorial debut hits floors in Haryana today. After completing the dubbing of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, he prepared for the comedy, starring Ileana D’Cruz. “I hope everything goes well,” said Hooda, as this is his first shoot in the new normal.

Unfair and Lovely is a ticklish comedy that grapples with India’s relentless obsession with fair skin. Set in the background of Haryana, the film tells the story of a dark girl who is tamed by prejudice and prejudice that holds Indian society against dark skin.

Ileana D’Cruz, who undermines the ongoing story, will star in the titular role of Lovely and will be paired with Randeep Hooda for the first time. The film marks the directorial debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua (famed screenwriter Saand Ki AANh and Mubarakan) and comes at a critical time when women are encouraged to empower and society is vigorously opposed to misnames promoting fair skin.

The film is written by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal and Anil Rodhan, music is composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil.

For the inexperienced, Hooda was injured while shooting for Radhe and had to undergo leg surgery. Speaking of the same in an interview, he said, “My leg is healing, there is no postoperative complication. I will be able to move around well in a week. My father, who is a doctor, was there during my surgery and took care of everything.”
