Bollywood star Salman Khan appeared in the Jodhpur Sessions Court on Tuesday, February 9, for hearing a case related to the poaching of two blackbucks in 1998. He attended the hearing via video conferencing and apologized in 2003 for ‘mistakenly’ presenting an incorrect affidavit. The final verdict will be delivered on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Salman Khan’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat informed the court that the affidavit was erroneously presented on 8 August 2003, and the actor should be pardoned for it. According to News18, Saraswat said, “The affidavit was erroneously granted on 8 August 2003, as Salman forgot that his license was given for renewal because he was too busy. Therefore, he mentioned that the license was in the court Was missing. “
The hearing in the case by the District and Sessions Judge was for two appeals – one challenging the five-year sentence in the case of Salman Khan being sentenced by the trial court for two blackbucks and the Rajasthan government acquitting the co-accused in the case .
