The actor and his co-actor Mrunal Thakur recently completed the Uttarakhand schedule of the movie. Shahid thanked the state government for their efficient policy that allowed the team to fire with proper safety precautions during the pandemic.
“Jersey” is a Hindi remake of the Telugu hit of the same name. The Hindi version will also be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who helmed the 2019 original.
The story is about a talented but failed cricketer named Arjun, who decides to make a comeback in his late thirties and play for India to fulfill his son’s wish.
