In a recent interview, the Akira actress spoke about a desire to return to work, post the lockdown, and how Dabangg helped establish her as the ultimate commercial heroine.
Speak against Hindustan Times, Sonakshi said, “I’m looking forward to being back on set. I don’t think I’ve had a break that lasted so long in the last 10 years. I’ve been working non-stop, and this break has been forced on us all , it is the first time that the industry has come to a standstill. “
Speaking of Dabangg and how it has helped her career chart, Sonakshi said, “The success of Dabangg, which made me a typical commercial heroine in Hindi movies, is the reason why I was offered such movies. These are the movies that audiences really enjoy and go to theaters in crowds. I think these types of movies really helped me gather an audience for myself, which later gave me the courage to take title roles on me. that rested on my shoulders, without a great hero in front of me. “
Happy and proud that she has chosen different genres to act in, be it romance, action or comedy, Sonakshi Sinha shared: “I want to be that heroine you can see in every movie, whether it has a hero or not. ., is a hugely edited movie, or romantic action movie. Nowadays you can imagine me in any kind of movie. “
