Sooraj Barjatya to present three different stories; son Avnish to make directorial debut with a destination wedding film : Bollywood News

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya who has done films Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain And recently Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem ratan dhan payo. The filmmaker has reportedly planned three films, one with his son Avnish, which will be his first film.

We had earlier reported that Barjatya worked for a film about friendship with Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani. It was also reported that the film would go on floors in February 2021, but the latest reports suggest that it will go on floors only in September. The film is called a distinctive Sooraj Barjatya saga that celebrates human relations but this time it will be a friendship between two senior citizens. The film is expected to be released in 2022, with Barjatya moving forward on her film with Salman Khan.

The film with Salman Khan tells the story of a mature married couple against the backdrop of nuclear families. The makers are yet to finalize the script, so an exact timeframe of the film is yet to be decided.

On the other hand, the senior filmmaker’s son Avnish is also set for his first film this year. Reportedly, the film is a young destination wedding themed, on the lines of a few Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. According to reports, the casting of the film is going on and the makers are looking for young actors. Due to the epidemic, the shooting of the film was delayed and now with a schedule in India and abroad only to go on floors in later years.
