The past two months have been stressful for Taapsee Pannu when she shot for Rashmi Rocket in Pune and Ranchi. With the lion’s share of filming completed, the sports drama unit has now set its sights on the definitive schedule in Gujarat. Under the original plan, director Akarsh Khurana would kick off the project with a stint in Rann of Kutch in April 2020, but the pandemic played a bummer.
“When the unit decided to start filming in November, it was impossible to go to Gujarat because they had not obtained the required permission to film in Rann or Kutch. The film, which also stars Priyanshu Painyuli, sees Pannu as a Kutch-based sprinter. The actor underwent rigorous training from September 2020 in her bid to do justice to the races filmed in Ranchi last month.
