AIIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi accepts Kovid-19 Jab, urges people to be vaccinated

HYDERABAD: After receiving the Kovid-19 vaccine, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi came forward and appealed to the people to take the vaccine shot.

He urged more people not to believe any rumors about the vaccine.

“My wife and I have been vaccinated today. The number of coronary heart disease cases is on the rise again. I urge the public to take the utmost care and come forward to take the vaccine shot,” OBI said.

In Telangana on Tuesday, the daily coronavirus crossed the 400 mark with 421 new additions, bringing the total case load to 3.0.03 lakh, a state government bulletin said.

Meanwhile, 40,151 coronavirus cases have been recorded in India in a single day, with the number of infections nationwide standing at 1,1,86,6 to 6, while the active load increased to 3,455,377 for the 13th consecutive day today. The Union Ministry of Health said.

Active caseload now stands at 2.9 percent of total infections, while recovery rates have fallen further to 9.6..67 percent, ministry data updated at 8am.

The country’s Kovid-19 death toll has risen to 1,60,166, with 199 new deaths occurring every day.

Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh saw an increase in the number of daily COVID-19 cases and together they accounted for 60.5 per cent of the total new cases registered in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday.
