Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday pants the budget presented by the Uttar Pradesh government, saying the expectations of the poor and farmers have not been met.
Adityanath Sarkar Deputy ₹A budget of Tk 5.5 lakh crore for 2021-22 in the Assembly with the aim of making Uttar Pradesh self-reliant. With the Assembly elections a year later, new schemes have been included in the budget ₹27,598 crore.
Asked about Yadav’s budget, he said, “Game over, money digested” (game over, money grab).
The SP leader said it was the fifth and last budget of the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his game was now over, the SP leader said.
“The poor and farmers had hoped for great relief, but their expectations have not been met. Now, there is no time left for the government and the people of the state have seen what they have done in the last four years,” Yadav added.
SP spokesperson Rajendra Chowdhury claimed that the budget for the 2022 assembly elections would turn the tide in favor of “AY to YA” (Yogi Adityanath’s Akhilesh Yadav).
