Fight Abhishek first, then I: Mamata challenged Amit Shah

Beating the Union Home Minister Amit Shah‘Didi-Vaipo’ Jeevan, Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee He was challenged on Thursday to contest the election against his nephew Abhishek Banerjee and then think of fighting.

Speaking at a party rally in Pilayan, South 24 Parganas district, Banerjee said he could have taken the easy path of becoming a Rajya Sabha member and becoming an inaugural MP, but he fought the Lok Sabha elections and got the people’s mandate.

“Day and night they are talking about Didi-Bhatija. I challenge Amit Shah, I will compete against Abhishek Banerjee first and then with me,” he said loudly from the supporters.

BJP leaders, including Shah, often accused Bandyopadhyay of dynastic politics, alleging that his ‘nephew’ or nephew had received favorable treatment and would eventually be made the chief minister of the state.

“How did your son make hundreds of crores of rupees by being part of the cricket administration?” Banerjee said Shah was under direct attack.

He challenged the home minister to get him into politics and work hard for government office.

Banerjee expressed confidence that his party would break all records of past elections in the state, get the majority of votes and win the most seats in the next elections.
