On Monday, Maharashtra Minister Shankara Rao Gadakh said he had tested positive for the coronavirus. The Minister of Soil and Water Conservation said the same on Twitter.
“My report has been positive for Kavid-19 and I am staying at home as per the doctors’ advice. Everyone who contacted me should take care of their health and get tested,” Ahmednagar Nevasa MLA said in a Marathi tweet
Gadakh won the 2019 assembly election as an independent candidate. He joined Shiv Sena last year.

In Maharashtra, there are 57,074 (55.11 per cent) new cases every day. This was followed by Chhattisgarh with 5,250 and Karnataka with 4,553 new cases.
Eight states, including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab, accounted for 61.90 per cent of new cases every day within 24 hours. The daily growth of Covid-19 in India today has crossed one lakh deadly milestones.
