Metroman E Sreedharan, who recently joined the BJP, has filed his nomination papers as a candidate for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Palakkad assembly constituency in Kerala.
After submitting the nomination, Sreedharan said, “I am sure I can shape the future of Kerala by representing the Palakkad constituency. People will join hands with the BJP to enable sustainable development.”
Sridharan said he “entered politics with the aim of serving the people”.
He added, “My election campaign is about development, not debate, and I am focused on development, not politics.”
Elections to the 140-member Kerala Assembly in 14 districts will be held in a single phase in April. The vote count will be held on May 2.
