New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday slammed the Modi government for raising fuel prices in the country. He further complained that it was to empty the pockets of the common man and to fill the pockets of his friends for free.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi, “When you see a fast moving meter while refueling your car at a petrol pump, remember that the price of crude oil has not gone up but has fallen,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi.
“There is petrol ₹100 liters. He added that the Modi government is doing a great job of emptying your pockets and filling the pockets of his friends.
Congress has accused the Center of looting the people by imposing high tariffs on petrol and diesel and has demanded its rollback to free the common man from the onslaught of rising prices.
