New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today tweeted that Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain lost his father in Kovid-9. Satyendra Jain also contracted coronavirus last June and he recovered.
“Our health minister Satyendra Jain lost his father to Kovid today,” he said, calling it extremely sad.
“Satyendra himself has been working tirelessly for the people of Delhi. God expresses my sincere sympathy to his soul and family,” Kejriwal added in his tweet.
The highest number of 412 Kovid-19s died in the national capital on Saturday and 25,219 new infections were reported on Saturday, according to a Delhi Health Department bulletin.
It killed 355 people on Friday, 395 on Thursday, and 386 on Wednesday; Tuesday 381, Monday 380, Sunday 350, last week Saturday 357 and last Friday 348 according to official data.
