Schools and colleges will remain closed in Bihar till April 11 amid the expansion of Kovid-19

Patna: All schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the state will remain closed till April 11 in the wake of the Kovid-19 case in Bihar.

According to an official statement, the scheduled test will be conducted following COVID guidelines. However, public and private gatherings at public places, except for weddings and other family functions, were banned until the end of April. About 50 to 250 people are allowed to strictly adhere to the Carnavirus guideline and get married.

The decision was taken by the state government’s crisis management group after discussions at a high-level meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Additional police forces have also been directed at bus terminals, railway stations, vegetable markets and eating joints to ensure social distance and prevent overcrowding.

The communication said that the entry of misguided visitors inside the government office will be prohibited and government transport vehicles will be allowed to operate, the total number of passengers will not exceed 50 per cent till April 15.

District Home Commissioners have been given the power to enforce the COVID protocol, such as mandatory wearing of masks and social distance, the Department of Homeland Security said.

Bihar The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday that there were currently 2,922 Kovid-19 cases.
