New Delhi : According to an official order, vaccination centers in Delhi will run till 9 pm from March 22.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain shared a copy of the order issued by the city government’s health department in a tweet on Friday.

“Considering the sudden intensification of surveillance in the case of covid, all Delhi government hospitals will operate vaccination sites on their premises till at least 9 am. Adequate manpower will be deployed to ensure this. I urge Delhiites to follow proper protocol and stay safe!” , “He tweeted.

“From March 22, Delhi government hospitals will operate vaccination sites on their premises till at least 9.00 am,” the order said.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the decision on Thursday.

Admitting that the number of coronavirus cases in Delhi has been on the rise for the past few days, Kejriwal stressed at the virtual press conference that he had also announced that the capacity of daily inoculation in Delhi would be increased, adding that there was nothing to worry about. 30,000-40,000 to 1.25 lakh.

He added that the number of vaccination centers currently spread across both public and private facilities would be doubled from about 500. The last time to vaccinate will be extended from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., currently from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, more than 40,000 beneficiaries received the COVID-19 vaccine in the national capital, a significant increase from the same figure a day earlier, according to official data.

As many as 28,994 people were vaccinated on Wednesday, down from 36,437 who received vaccine shots on Tuesday.

Between the ages of 45-59, 2,992 beneficiaries received jobs, 18,899 senior citizens also received their first shots on Thursday, a senior official said, adding that a total of 40,644 people were vaccinated.

A case of juvenile AAFI (adverse events after vaccination) has been recorded, officials said.

The health department said 19 new Covid-19 cases of CO07 were recorded in Delhi on Thursday, the highest in two and a half months, and the death toll from one more death had risen to 10,999.

According to the health bulletin, the number of active cases has increased from 2,70,002 a day earlier to 2,924.

The number of new cases has risen to 6,455,6332 and 6.31 million people have recovered so far. The positivity rate in the bulletin increased from 0.6 rose percentage to 0.7676. The bulletin said that the percentage stood.

On Wednesday, 5,536 cases were recorded in Delhi and 425 on Tuesday, with a positive rate of 0.11 per cent.
